When he came out as gay, I thought he would find peace - but years of living in fear and shame had taken their toll. He spiraled into homelessness and severe mental illness.
Witnessing his struggle taught me a powerful lesson - living authentically is not a luxury, it's essential to our well-being.
I made a conscious decision to base important life decisions on my inner truth, not my fears.
This led me to leave a six-figure career and start a business focused on speaking and helping women build confidence.
